Implementation of Javanese Cultural Values Through the Pancasila Student Profile in Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract


This study examines the implementation of the Pancasila learner profile in the Mardika Basa lan Sastra Jawa textbook grade VII SMP/Mts and its relevance to Javanese cultural character values. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out with data cards, questionnaires, and interviews with teachers. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman technique. Data validity used data triangulation method. The results showed that the textbook Mardika Basa lan Sastra Jawa kanggo kelas VII SMP / MTs Merdeka Curriculum has implemented the Pancasila learner profile in each chapter, starting from the value content contained in the book, the pattern of learning preparation and learning activities. The cultural character values relevant to the Pancasila student profile are; andhap asor, babar binuka, tepa salira, laku hambeging kartika, wicaksana, and niteni, nirokke, nambahi. This research provides information as well as insight to readers that Javanese cultural character values are able to make a positive contribution to strengthening the profile of Pancasila students and become a means of strengthening national cultural character.
